Not Only Do We Adhere to Government Regulations, We Set Our Own Environmental and Safety Standards
The type of soil drilling we do is potentially dangerous and potentially damaging to the environment. But not when done by Groundwork Drilling. There is nothing casual or careless about our operations. Everyone on our staff holds the appropriate license. All our field personnel are aware of safety concerns and all have an ingrained environmental conscientiousness.
Our industry is regulated by both the Ontario Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Labour. We are in full compliance with all these regulations. Our drill operators are licensed by the Ontario Ministry of the Environment and all have certification under the Occupational Health and Safety Act (O.H.S.A.). Staff operating our forklift trucks have the required certification. The same applies to propane equipment handlers.
Management of Groundwork Drilling strictly enforces all government regulations and applies its own safety standards. No unqualified personnel ever get near our equipment and only Groundwork Drilling staff are allowed on the site while we are drilling.
Groundwork Drilling is also currently undergoing a rigorous health and safety approval process in conjunction with the Ontario Ministry of Labour.
Though we don’t control the environmental assessments of the soil samples we extract, we know that the respected engineering firms we work with all share our environmental standards.
